Another year older

It was my birthday on Wednesday and the malaysian society had a surprise party for me at one of their rooms. There must've been about 20 of us all cramped in one room but it was good. 7 years in England and nobody had a surprise party for me haha, we went out and drank, but no cake or anything. It was nice of them though and I appreciated it. There are alot of people who have their birthdays in October, Lisa's on the 2nd, Pigu's on the 7th and KeaVee's on the 8th.

On Friday night we went to a bistro called Piztro, it was nice if you wanted a quiet place to sit and hang out with friends. About 15 of us went to have a couple of shots and drinks. We got there at 11 and the place closed at 12, then we got lost trying to get to the club, so we ended up at The Shadow which was playing live music and had an older crowd.

On Saturday night, we managed to get one of our friends Alex, to take me and Andy down to Flashbacks for a night out. It was our first time out to a club in Wichita and we had a good time, although the music wasnt all that. Drinks are way cheaper than malaysia or england. $2.75 for a corona or a captain morgan's. On the way out we met one of Andy's friends who gave us a lift back and took us for a nice supper at IHOP. Yum! Eggs, sausage, bacon, hash brown, ham and pancakes at 3 in the morning! Overall it was a good birthday weekend, it could be better, but the most important thing is.. it could've been worse, so I'm content!
